At the Jenolan Caves we went through the “Temple of Baal” which was very impressive. It took 1 ½ hrs. They say that tens of millions of years ago the Blue Mountains lay beneath the ocean as coral reefs. Thousands of years later, massive earth movements lifted these reefs, compressing and heating the coral into limestone to form the Blue Mountains.
