2004trip - Part 4, Coober Pedy, South Australia .

We came back along the Bridle Track, which is really for 4WD vehicles - no caravans or trailers allowed. A very scenic drive along the Macquarie River but the road was terrible. It reminded me of the road out to the Bungle Bungles, Western Australia. Quite scary in parts but the scenery was spectacular. We saw a lot of camping spots down by the river but they would be better approached from the Bathurst end. It took us about 4 hours to do the trip.
