2004trip - Part 4, Coober Pedy, South Australia .

It is still raining... From Cobar we went on to Dubbo and Bathurst, where
we visited Mt. Panorama and drove around the circuit where quite a few people
were working, getting the track ready for the big race. We stayed here for
two days. We went to the Historic Village in Sofala where in 1888 there were
25,000 people but today only 72 remain. From there we drove to an old gold
mine at Hill End. They conduct mine tours here and have many historic buildings.
