2004trip - Part 2, Alice Springs, Uluru, Northern Territory .

The Ayers Rock Campground has changed a lot since we were there four years ago. There are two Hotels – Sails in the desert and Camel. There is also a Supermarket, Craft Shops, Post Office, Petrol Station, Police Station, Restaurants etc. Petrol here was $1.24. It was an easy drive from the campground to see the sunset at the rock and took these three photos as the light changed. As the sun sets you see crimsons turning to rusts, and pinks to mauves.
