2004trip - Part 1, Cania Gorge, Queensland to Alice Springs, NT .

On the 20th August, we went to the Desert Park about 5 km from Alice Springs. It is well worth a visit. You have to allow a day to see it all. When you arrive, they give you a small tape recorder with earphones to put around your neck and as you walk along the paths, the things of interest are numbered, and when you press that number on the recorder it gives you all the details of the area. It is very well done. They also give interesting talks at various points and these are detailed on a paper with the times.
